New Ideas for Ribbon

If you are like me there is nothing better than sparkles and pretty ribbons. Looking forward to warmer days...

Usually my favorite season is Winter. I love the rainy overcast cool days and bright stars on clear nights. I love the muted colors and knowing everything is resting for the spring days that are coming. Here in Texas it is rare to have a hard freeze but this year we have one that has set it. Since I am stuck indoors with my great kids who already have cabin fever, and I have no chance of getting out for the next few days I am dreaming of warmer weather. Who in their right mind would be looking forward to 100+ degree summer days? ME that's who! Crazy huh? So inspired by the the freezing temperatures outside and the warmer days to come I made this card.

I used Close to My Heart's "Sunny Yellow", "White Daisy" and black card stocks, markers, and stamp pads. The flowers are Just Blooms dyed with re-inkers to match. The flower stamp is a stamp wheel I picked up somewhere (???). Just simply stamp, color, layer and embellish. Oh how the "Sunny Yellow" and sunflowers remind me of the warm summer days to come! Enjoy!

Hello all My name is Chandel Woody and I am a Close to My Heart Independent Consultant. I have started this blog to share new techniques, great deals, and information about upcoming workshops and classes.

Just a little about me, I am a married SAHM of 3 great kids who keep me busy and always give me something to scrap. I love to make cards for special occasions, and mini albums for gifts to commemorate that big even in someone's life. Most of the time I scrap with my Mother-In-Law and Daughter, its great girl time that allows us to bond and have fun.

Becoming a Close to My Heart Consultant has been a dream of mine that I have finally fulfilled! I love the freedom and flexibility in my work schedule, and I love to teach and share creative projects with others. Close to My Heart's products give me MORE.
